Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions has an opening for a Senior Process Water Treatment Engineer in our Burlington, ON office to support and grow our water practice and provide environmental consulting services in support of public and private clientele. We are looking for a candidate who is excited about the opportunity to maintain and grow our environmental consulting business with knowledge and technical skills in design and implementation of process water treatment systems. Construction oversight experience is desirable. This exciting opportunity offers a growth position in a team - oriented environment for an individual with an established track record as a Seller / Doer. Candidates should be self - motivated and able to work on projects with variable complexity with the desire and ability to mentor and build a strong support team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform design, oversight, mentorship and direct the efforts of staff - and project - level engineers
• Market and develop new work to support the continued growth of the engineering department and the office
• Consulting and management for municipal, commercial, and industrial projects
• Coordinate multi - discipline team for public and commercial projects
• Maintain relationships with key client project managers
• Support proposal preparation work and technical work scope development
• Market and develop new work to support the continued growth of the practice area
• Recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work
• Be able to lead or follow other Principal, Senior, and Staff level employees as the situations occur
• Manage multiple projects, being responsible for ensuring that deliverables, schedules, and budgets are achieved
• Travel to project(s), as needed, for the execution of project goals
