The Town of Castle Rock has an outstanding opportunity for a Traffic Operations Engineer in our Public Works Department. Under general direction this position performs supervisory, professional and complex technical work in the management and coordination of traffic engineering and operations programs and functions. Performs duties in a manner consistent with the shared values of the Town.
Qualifications generally include a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on traffic/transportation, or related discipline; supplemented by a minimum of four years of traffic engineering experience, preferably with public agencies; or an equivalent combination. Supervisory experience preferred. A valid Colorado Driver’s License is required. Colorado Professional Engineer’s (PE) license is preferred. IMSA Level 2 Traffic Signal Field Technician preferred. Must satisfactorily complete a driving record check and criminal background check prior to commencing employment.
