The Wei Lab at Vanderbilt University Medical Center - Department of Biomedical Informatics - Center for Precision Medicine was founded to enable better research through better electronic health record (EHR) based phenotyping. Wei-Qi Wei, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor in Biomedical Informatics, is looking to recruit talented postdoctoral researchers with a passion for science to support numerous National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants in the area of EHR phenotyping, natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, PheWAS, and Pharmacogenomics research. Under Vanderbilt's Biomedical Research Education and Training (BRET) Office, the program will provide RCR training, high-standard Individual Development Plans (IDP), and the Career Development Programs.
