Engineering Project Manager

The City of Chandler Public Works & Utilities Department is currently seeking qualified individuals to fill the full-time position of ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER.  This position is scheduled to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm. 

Classification Summary:
The primary function of an employee in this class is to perform professional engineering and project management duties as it relates to the coordination of construction projects.  Work involves the use of engineering techniques to interpret original designs and applicable regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; and
• Four (4) years experience in civil engineering or construction management; and
• Valid Arizona Driver's License with acceptable driving record; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work;

Desired Qualifications:
• Master's Degree;
• Five (5) or more years of experience managing capital projects, developing plans, specifications and estimates for various public works projects to include water treatment plants, booster and storage facilities, water transmission and distribution pipelines, sewer treatment plants, lift stations, and/or gravity sewer improvements.
