Asst. Professor in Biology (Plant Physiologist)
Assistant Professor of Biology, Tennessee Tech University, Cookeville, Tennessee. Full-time, 9-month, tenure-track appointment to begin August 2022. We seek a plant physiological ecologist to teach upper division courses including plant ecology and plant physiology, with additional courses in the candidate’s area of specialization. Other essential functions include developing and sustaining an active research program that complements existing research strengths in the Department of Biology, pursuing external research support, advising undergraduate and graduate students, directing thesis research of M.S. and/or Ph.D. level graduate student, fostering diverse undergraduate participation in research, and overseeing the botanical conservatory and research growth chamber.
