Physics Phoenix STEM Instructional Professor
The Physical Sciences Collegiate Division at the University of Chicago is accepting applications for an Instructional Professor (IP) (rank commensurate with experience) to be part of the Phoenix STEM Program team. Phoenix STEM is a new program whose goal is to promote the success of historically under-represented and first-generation students in STEM majors at the University of Chicago. The Physics Phoenix STEM IP will teach collaborative learning workshops to help students succeed in our introductory physics courses and support other pedagogical initiatives in the department. The Physics Phoenix STEM IP will also work with the Phoenix STEM team to develop resources for Phoenix STEM students and serve as an academic advisor for these students.
