Under minimal supervision, performs a wide variety of skilled work in the construction and maintenance of underground and overhead electrical distribution systems; respond to electrical system emergencies and customer trouble calls as necessary to maintain or restore electric utilities services; performs related duties as required. See Essential Functions below for further detail.      CLASS CHARACTERISTICS This is the advanced journey-level class with advanced knowledge, skills, and experience in the identification of problems with the electric distribution system and service to utility customers. Incumbents in this class will be assigned to perform stand by duties by the Assistant Director of Utilities – Electric Operations or designee.
