The ARS South East Area is seeking highly qualified candidates for a permanent full-time scientific position. This position affords the opportunity to:

• Provide unique and highly specialized skills in identification and evaluation of resistance to preharvest aflatoxin contamination of maize and develop resistant germplasm through classical and molecular breeding.
• Advance food and feed safety through interdisciplinary research, breeding and technology transfer.
• Work collaboratively as key member of a multidisciplinary team of scientists at the Food and Feed Safety Research Unit and with other ARS locations, industry and stakeholders.
