We are now hiring for a Potable Water/Wastewater Engineer. This position can be based out of any of our 5 locations (Green Bay, Madison, Milwaukee, Prairie du Chien, Reedsburg). The Portable Water/Wastewater Engineer is responsible for performing and managing design services related to water and sewer infrastructures and water/wastewater treatment projects. This position will also be responsible for preparing required reports and permit applications, overseeing the preparation of plans, construction documents, and specifications, and completing construction administration for water and wastewater projects.
Responsibilities Include:
Execute engineering work on water and environmental projects including wastewater treatment, water treatment, advance treatment, and pumping and conveyance.
Design and oversee construction of various types of wastewater treatment and collection facilities including municipal and private systems; various types of potable water supply and distribution systems (wells, storage tanks, distribution mains). Develop master plan for services areas of sizing and various types of wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment systems.
Develops master plans for service areas for water supply and distribution systems.
Design systems to safely and effectively manage water and wastewater projects, including safety returning water to the ecosystem.
Review and analyze drainage systems for stormwater or floodplains to ensure the safety of the ecosystem.
Analyze existing water and wastewater systems for facility needs planning and evaluate capacity for new development.
Prepares designs in conformance with state regulations regarding wastewater collection and treatment (interceptor sewers, pumping stations, etc.)
Completes designs for portable water supply, distribution, and treatment facilities for municipal and private water systems.
Designs layout and specifications for various pumping and lift stations.
Assist with the preparation and review of technical reports, drawings, specifications, and other miscellaneous contract documents.
Conducts environmental studies regarding the collection, treatment, and distribution of water or wastewater.
Provides direction and technical guidance on water/wastewater infrastructure projects approaches and technologies.
Other duties as assigned.

Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for candidates who have a Professional Engineering License for the State of Wisconsin and 8 + years of experience with the study, design, and construction administration of water resources infrastructures. Candidates should also be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
